What more can you say about this man and his presentation skills that hasn't been said before? There surely can't be many people left in the I.M.I. who haven't heard the 'History of Jaguar Cars' delivered by Peter Leake, Jaguar's Dealer Training Manager.
The event title says it all and the manner with which it's delivered has been reported in these columns many times before. I won't bore you by repeating the content again.
When this man retires he could, if he wants to, have a second career. His enthusiasm for speaking clearly without the use of expletives, or constantly 'er' (ing), will surely be sought after by every training provider as an example to the next generation of speakers on how to deliver a subject with gusto. We will all then look forward to attending presentations with enthusiasm and bring an end to those speakers who too frequently bore us all to death with their poor delivery. I've had to sit (sleep usually, if I'm honest) through more than my fair share of poorly delivered, but nevertheless important presentations in my forty-seven years in this industry, but this guy could make the explanation of how paint dries interesting.
