Autogas Limited has welcomed plans announced by the Government for the introduction of five Clean Air Zones in Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Derby and Southampton. Designed to help improve air quality and bring the UK into line with EU nitrogen oxide targets, the proposals will target the most polluting vehicles such as old buses, taxis, coaches and lorries.
Steve Law is the Project Leader for the TX4 London Taxi Project and will bring a converted TX4 with him for members to see. Auke Faber, Autogas Conversion Specialist, will bring along a converted Fiat Doblo van and Paul Beesley will detail the collaboration between Autogas, Shell and Calor to deliver this project.
Like all IMI Birmingham Member Association events it is free to Members and their guests as are the complimentary refreshments. Car parking at the RAC is plentiful and FREE and there are three EV charging points in the car park too!
