This event was attended by many college lecturers from the West Midlands region, all of whom were very impressed with the though that AEL have put into its design, especially the durability o the electrical connections and the 'fault' setting provision for lecturers to set students to diagnose. -- Keith Webb
Advanced Electronics Logistics - Powertrain Solutions started in business as engine remanufacturers and became licensed for remanufacturing General Motors engines in particular, later diversifying into making an Engine Run-Rig for sale to colleges and training establishments world wide. Their latest Run-Rig contains a Euro5 1.3ltr Corsa diesel engine with break out boxes to tet electrical engine functions to NVQ level 3. AEL also specialise in CanBus testing through their O.E. business and are also manufacturers of vehicle wiring harnesses. As a result of the knowledge they have gained through many years in business, they can incorporate many additional features into the Run-Rig suit customer requirements; one such request I heard being discussed after the seminar was the inclusion of lighting for students to test their CanBus faultfinding knowledge on side/headlamp/day-running light faults. This feature and others can be incorporated into the Run-Rigs where appropriate.
