Vehicle Technician: Swindon

Our client are looking for a fully qualified vehicle technician to join their busy workshop. This is a superb opportunity to join one of Swindon's most popular main dealerships.

The Role:

Servicing and repair of vehicles booked in to the workshop (completed to manufacturer standards)

Independently diagnosing faults on vehicles

Preparing vehicles for MOT tests

Carrying out warranty repairs

Completing work within specified time frames

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Repair

THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Engineering Manager the key purpose of the role is the direct management of a team of engineers (electrical & mechanical). Key responsibilities for the Lead engineer will include;

assisting the Engineering Manager with identifying areas of improvements in the maintenance systems

devising improvement plans for PPM schedules
*

THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Engineering Manager the key purpose of the role is the direct management of a team of engineers (electrical & mechanical). Key responsibilities for the Lead engineer will include;
