THE ROLE:
You will be an apprentice trained, experienced Vehicle Mechanic and have experience working with a variety of heavy commercial vehicles.

- Carrying out service, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet HGVs
- Diagnosing faults.
- Carrying out 6 weekly inspections.
• Reporting to the Team Leader.

The main purpose of the role is to accurately and effectively control the flow of work through the Accident Repair Centre ensuring jobs are completed within the required timescales to the specified standards.

We are currently recruiting for a part time warehouse operative for our well known client in Lewisham. The position is temporary on going but may change to a full time position in the future depending on the needs and growth of the business.
The warehouse is a fast paced and busy environment with health and safety being paramount. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
Experience in the following would be advantageous:
Set the machine using the correct tooling appropriate to the program
Read and interpret shop orders, including sheet metal development / customer drawings
Responsible for producing quality items to tight tolerances
Set-up and operate press brakes without assistance using bend allowances
